Applying effects to text
You can decorate the text object using various styles or effects.
Applying a style
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Select a text object on the Canvas.
- Select a style you want from the Styles tab of the Libraries window.
Applying an effect
- Select the Selection Tool on the Tool Palette.
- Select a text object on the Canvas.
- Select the effect you want in the [Effect] menu.

- Select the [Gaussian Blur] to make the selected object look soft.

- Select the [Drop Shadow] to drop shadow on the selected object to make it look three-dimensional.

- Select the [Bevel] to make the selected object look protruded.

- Select the [Glow] to make the selected object glow like a neon sign or a fluorescent light.
