Inserting path objects
Objects created with the tools on the Tool Palette, such as polygons and stars, are composed of paths. Therefore, you can edit the objects using the same methods as you edit path objects.
In the cases of ellipses, rectangles, and rounded rectangles, you can create them as path objects if you select Create as Path in the Tool Options menu. Create as Path is selected by default. You can convert objects that have not been created as path objects to path objects by selecting the [Modify > Convert To Path] menu command.
