Drawing a straight path
You can create various straight paths by drawing and connecting straight lines using the Pen Tool
.Drawing an open/closed path
- Select the Pen Tool on the Tool Palette.
- Click any point on the Canvas to locate the starting anchor point.
- Click continuously to locate the following anchor point.
- Click continuously to locate the following anchor points to draw a path you want.
- Choose one of the following methods to draw a closed or open path.

- Click on the starting anchor point once more to close the path. A closed straight path is created.
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette to finish the drawing. An open straight path is created.
- Click on the starting anchor point once more to close the path. A closed straight path is created.
If you double-click on the path created with the Pen Tool, you can finish the path and start drawing a new path.
