Converting a straight path to a curved path
You can convert curved paths into straight paths, or vice versa by removing or creating the curve handles using the Convert Anchor Point Tool
.
- Select the Direct Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Select the path object to be converted into a curved path.
- Select the Convert Anchor Point
on the Tool Palette.
- Click on the anchor point that has no curve handles and drag the mouse to specify the length and angle of the curve.
- The curve on the anchor point gains continuity and becomes a smooth path.
