Closing a path


You can close an open path by drawing a line that joins the starting and ending anchor points.

  1. Select the Direct Selection Tool Namo WebCanvas icon toolpalette direct select Closing a path on the Tool Palette.
  2. Select an open path to be converted to a closed path.

  4. Click on the starting anchor point (or the ending anchor point) of the path when the mouse-pointer turns into a Namo WebCanvas pointer path add Closing a pathat the starting anchor point (or the ending anchor point) of the path.

  5. Click on the ending anchor point (or the starting anchor point) of the path when the mouse-pointer turns into a Namo WebCanvas pointer path close Closing a path at the ending anchor point (or the starting anchor point) of the path.

  6. The path is closed as a line connecting the two anchor points is created.

Namo WebCanvas reference Closing a path You can also close the path by selecting the [Modify > Path > Close Path] menu command. It is convenient to use the menu command when closing several paths at once.
