Renaming a layer/an object
You can rename a layer or the objects contained in the layer.
- Select the Layers tab of the Layers window.
- In the Layers tab of the Layer window, double-click the layer or object you wish to rename or select [Rename Layer] or [Rename Object] from the sub-menu.
- In the Rename dialog box, enter a new name for the layer or object and click OK.
- The new layer/object name is displayed at the layers list.
