Hiding a layer/an object
You can temporarily hide a layer/an object on the Canvas. The hidden object is not displayed on the Canvas nor you can select or edit it.
- Select the Layers tab of the Layers window.
- Select a layer from the layers list you want to hide.
- Click the eye-shaped icon
on the left side of the layer you want to hide. The lock-shaped icon 
disappears to indicate that the object is hidden and the selected object disappears from the Canvas.
If you hide a layer, all the objects contained in the layer are hidden as well. To show the object, click the empty square where the eye-shaped icon was. The eye-shaped icon appears to indicate the visibility of the object.
