Specifying the export area
You can save a specific portion of an object and export that portion in a specific file format, such as TNG or bitmap.
Specifying the export area
- Select the Export Area Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Click one point on the Canvas and drag the mouse button to highlight the desired area. When the dotted rectangle reaches the size you want, release the mouse button.
You can set the minimum export area to include all of the objects on the Canvas. Select the [View > Export Area > Auto Export Area] menu command or select the Auto button in the Tool Options of the Export Area Tool. Or, simply double-click the Export Area Tool on the Tool Palette.
Specifying the export area by entering the value
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Select the object whose specific area you want to export.
- Select the [View > Export Area > Settings...] menu command.
- In the Export Area dialog box, specify the Size and Position of the export area.
If you select the [File > Save/Export] menu command without specifying the export area of an object, the minimum area will include all of the objects on the Canvas and will become the export area.
