Creating a mask


You can segment or cut a specific defined area of an object in a variety of shapes using mask.

  1. Select the Selection Tool Namo WebCanvas icon toolpalette select Creating a Mask on the Tool Palette.
  2. Select an object shape you want to use as a mask and another object to be masked. Between the overlapped objects, the upper object serves as the mask.

  3. Select the [Modify > Clipping Mask > Make] menu command. The ‘Mask Group’ is displayed at the layers list of the Layers tab.

Namo WebCanvas reference Creating a Mask You can also select objects to be used for masking from the layers list in the Layers tab of the Layers window. Between the overlapped objects, the upper most object serves as the mask.
