What is a mask?
A mask is used when you want to isolate an unnecessary area of an object. The upper mask object takes the role of a mask, while the mask is applied to the lower object. Note that only the area masked by the upper object is displayed in the saved image. You can make the color or pattern of the mask object and masked object overlap and display transparent.
