Modifying the gradient

You can modify the shape and direction of the gradients applied to an object.

Modifying the shape of gradient

  1. Select the Selection Tool Namo WebCanvas icon toolpalette select Modifying a gradient on the Tool Palette.
  2. Select an object on the Canvas whose gradient you want to modify.

  3. Double-click the Fill button. When the gradient is specified as the Stroke properties of the selected object, double-click the Stroke button.
  4. Modify the Name, Type, Spread, Color, and Transparency in the Gradient Editor dialog box.
  5. Click Ok and the modified gradient is applied to the selected object.

Modifying the direction and degree of the gradient effect

  1. Select an object on the Canvas using the Selection Tool Namo WebCanvas icon toolpalette select Modifying a gradient on the Tool Palette.

  2. Select the Gradient Vector Tool Namo WebCanvas icon toolpalette gradient Modifying a gradient on the Tool Palette.
  3. Specify the starting and ending point of the gradient by dragging the mouse on the gradient. The longer the dragged line, the more gradual the gradient becomes.

  4. The newly modified direction and degree of the gradient is applied to the object.
