Applying gradients to an object

You can apply the selected gradient to the Fill or Stroke properties of an object.

Using the Tool Palette

1. Select the Selection Tool on the Tool Palette and select the object to which you want to apply gradient.
2. Press the Fill or Stroke button and select the gradient you want in the Gradient tab.

Using the Swatches window

1. Select the Selection Tool on the Tool Palette and select the object to which you want to apply gradient.
2. Click Apply to Fill or Apply to Stroke on the Swatches window.
3. Select the gradient you want in the Gradient tab. The selected gradient is applied to the selected object right away.
