Applying colors to an object
You can specify the colors for the Fill and Stroke of properties of an object.
Using the Tool Palette
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Select the object to which you want to apply color.
- Press the Fill or Stroke drop-down button and select the color you want to use in the Color tab.
Double-clicking the Fill or Stroke button displays the Color Picker dialog box, which enables you to edit existing colors using the Color Spectrum.
Using the Swatches window
- Select the Selection Tool on the Tool Palette.
- Select the object to which you want to apply color.
- Press Apply to Fill
or Apply to Stroke 
on the Swatches window.
- Select the color you want from the Color tab. The selected color is applied to the selected object immediately.
