Creating a horizontal line
You can easily create horizontal lines that are frequently used in Web documents with paths or vector objects. As the image is saved in vector graphic file format, you can resize it on the Canvas with no loss of graphical quality.

Step 1: Creating a new document
- Select the [File > New] menu command.
- In the New Document dialog box, type in ‘circle’ in the Name and specify the Width, Height, and Color and click OK.
- A Canvas opens and the ‘horizon [Sheet 1] – 100%. is displayed on its title bar.
Step 2: Creating a horizontal line
- Select the Pen Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Click the starting anchor point of a horizontal line and click the ending anchor point while holding down the <Shift> key.
- In the Stroke tab of the Properties window, specify the Width as ’5′ and the Dash as ‘Short Dash Line.’
- Press the Stroke drop-down list on the Tool Palette and select the gradient you want from the Gradient tab.
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Modify the horizontal line to the desired length.
- A horizontal line as below is completed.
Step 3: Saving the Smart ClipArt
- Select the [File > Save] dialog box.
- In the Save As dialog box, specify the Filename as ‘horizon,’ Files of type as ‘TNG Files (*.tng) and click Save.
