Creating a bullet
You can easily create vector images that can be used as a bullets in Web documents with vector objects. As the image is saved in vector graphic file format, there is no loss of quality when you modify the size after inserting the image, and you can modify its color.

Step 1: Creating a new document
- Select the [File > New] menu command.
- In the New Document dialog box, type in ‘circle’ in the Name and specify the Width, Height, and Color and click OK.
- A Canvas opens and the ‘circle [Sheet 1] – 100%. is displayed on its title bar.
Step 2: Creating a basic shape
- Select the Ellipse Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Create a circle by dragging the mouse on the Canvas while holding down the <Shift> key.
Step 3: Coloring a buillet
To render the object with a sense of volume, like a ball for example, edit the gradient as in the following steps and apply to the object.
- Press the Fill drop-down list on the Tool Palette and select the gradient you want from the Gradient tab.
- Double-click the Fill button on the Tool Palette.
- In the Gradient Editor dialog box, specify the options as following.

- To modify the color, select the slide bar
and press the Color button
. In the Color Picker dialog box, select the color you want.

- Select the Gradient Vector Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Drag down the top left of the circle to the right bottom to modify the gradient’s starting and ending points as below.
Step 4: Creating a shadow
- Select the Ellipse Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Create a circle to be used as a shadow by dragging the mouse.
- Select the Rotate Tool
on the Tool Palette and transform the circle as below.
- Double-click the Fill button on the Tool Palette and select the color to be used as a shadow in the Color Picker dialog box.
- Select the [Effect > Gausian Blur...] menu command.
- In the Gausian Blur dialog box, specify the Radiux X/Y as 3 pixels and click OK.
- Drag the shadow object to below the circle created in Step 3 by holding down the <Ctrl> key.
- In the Layers tab of the Layers window, drag the shadow object below the circle object to switch their order.
- A bullet as below is completed.
Step 5: Saving the Smart ClipArt
- Select the [File > Save] menu command.
- In the Save As dialog box, specify the Filename as ‘circle’ and Types of file as TNG fileTNG (*.tng) and click Save.
