Selecting multiple objects


To edit objects that are components of an image, you should select them first. If you select more than one object, you can move them or modify all of them at once.

  1. Select the Selection Tool Namo WebCanvas icon toolpalette select Selecting multiple objects or the Direct Selection Tool Namo WebCanvas icon toolpalette direct select Selecting multiple objects on the Tool Palette.
  2. Select an object on the Canvas and choose one of the following methods.
    • Select the objects one by one while holding down the <Shift> key.
    • Drag the mouse to create a dotted rectangle including the objects you have selected. The objects in the dotted rectangle are selected.

    • To select all of the objects in the current layer, select the [Edit > Select All] menu command or press the <Ctrl + A> key.
    • To select objects other than the currently selected object(s), Select the [Edit > Inverse Selection] menu command.
