Skewing an object
You can skew an object to any direction using the Skew Tool on the Tool Palette.
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Select the object you want to skew on the Canvas.
- Choose one of the following methods.

- Click the Skew Tool
on the Tool Palette. When the mouse-pointer turns into 
, drag the pointer around the object’s center. denoted by 
and skew its shape into the direction you want.
- Select the [Modify > Transform > Rotate/Skew] menu command. Specify the direction and angle by which the selected object should be skewed in the Rotate/Skew dialog box.
- Specify the skew angle and direction at the Transform tab of the Properties window. To skew the object to the X axis, modify the
value and to skew the object to the Y axis, modify the 
value.
- Click the Skew Tool
