Cutting a path object using Scissors Tool
You can cut and edit path objects using the Scissors Tool 
on the Tool Palette.
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Select a path object on the Canvas. (The Scissors Tool is not available until you select the object that you want to cut.)
- Click the Scissors Tool on the Tool Palette. The pointer turns into (
).
- Click on the point of the path object you want to cut.

You can cut only the path objects using the Scissors Tool on the Tool Palette. You cannot divide the bitmap images or vector images, such as circle, polygon, rectangle. To cut those objects, you should first convert them to path objects by selecting the [Modify > Convert to Path] menu command.
