Modifying an object
You can modify the properties, such as size, position, and form, of the object inserted on the Canvas.
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Select the object on the Canvas you want to edit. A dotted blue rectangle appears, indicating the area containing the objects is to be edited.
- Choose one of the following methods.

- To modify the size of the object, click on one of the handles on the blue rectangle. When an open arrow appears, scale the object by dragging the mouse to the desired size.
- To modify the position of the object, simply drag and drop the object to the desired position.
- Modify the X (Left), Y (Top), W (Width), and H (Height) at the Transform tab in the Properties window.
- To modify the size of the object, click on one of the handles on the blue rectangle. When an open arrow appears, scale the object by dragging the mouse to the desired size.
The ellipse, rectangle, rounded rectangle dialog boxes are prompted if you select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette and double-click the shape object. You can modify the size and position of the shape object using dialog boxes.
Stars and polygons are path objects. You can also create ellipses, rectangles, and rounded rectangles as path objects by selecting Create as Path in the Tool Options. You can modify the shapes of path objects by moving the anchor points using the Direct Selection Tool
