Creating an individual line

You can draw an individual line quickly and easily using the Line Tool on the Tool Palette. By simply dragging the mouse or setting the values in the Line dialog box, you can create a line.

Drawing a line by dragging the mouse

1. Select the Line Tool on the Tool Palette.
2. Click where you want the line to begin and drag the mouse to where you want the line to end.
   

Drawing a line by specifying properties

1. Select the Line Tool on the Tool Palette.
2. (Optional) On the Paint tab of the Properties window, specify the color for Fill and Stroke, and in the Stroke tab, specify the Width of the line.
3. Click on the point on the Canvas where you want the line to start.
4. In the Line dialog box, enter the values for Start Position and End Position.
5. Click OK.
