Gaussian Blur dialog box
[Effect > Gaussian Blur...], [Properties window - Effects tab -double-click Gaussian Blur]
You can edit options for the Gaussian Blur effect. The Gaussian Blur effect makes the selected object appear soft.
Properties
- Radius X/Radius Y

Specifies the horizontal/vertical radius of the Gaussain Blur effect to be applied to the selected object, measured in pixels.
- Sync X-Y
Synchronizes the Radius X and Radius Y values. This option is selected by default.
Preview
You can preview the result the in the Preview box.
- Zoom in
Increases the magnification of the object preview. Click repeatedly to magnify the preview. If the image reaches its maximum size, this button will be deactivated, and display changes stop.- Zoom out
Decreases the magnification of the object preview. Click repeatedly to reduce the image by degrees. If the image reaches its minimum size, this button will be deactivated, and display changes stop.
