Drop Shadow dialog box

[Effect > Drop Shadow...], [Properties window - Effects tab -double-click Drop Shadow]


You can edit options for the Drop Shadow effect.

Properties

  • Type
  • Outer shadow

    Creates a shadow outside the image.

    Inner shadow

    Creates a shadow inside the image.

  • Offset X/Y
    Specifies the position of the shadow by the distance from the image in pixels. An offset value bigger than 0 places the shadow to the bottom-right side of the image, while smaller than 0 to the upper-left side.
  • Color
    Click to specify a color for the shadow in the Color Picker dialog box.
  • Blur
    Specifies the range of blurriness applied to the object in pixels. A value of zero makes the glow perfectly sharp. Specifies the range of blurriness applied to the object, measured in pixels. Higher the number specified in Blur, the blurrier the Drop Shadow becomes.
  • Opacity
    Specifies the opacity of the shadow as a percentage (%).

Preview

You can preview the result the in the Preview box.

  • Zoom in Namo WebCanvas button zoom in Drop Shadow dialog box
    Increases the magnification of the object preview. Click repeatedly to magnify the preview. If the image reaches its maximum size, this button will be deactivated, and display changes stop.
  • Zoom out Namo WebCanvas button zoom out Drop Shadow dialog box
    Decreases the magnification of the object preview. Click repeatedly to reduce the image by degrees. If the image reaches its minimum size, this button will be deactivated, and display changes stop.
