Bevel dialog box
[Effect > Bevel...], [Properties window - Effects tab -double-click Bevel]
You can edit options for the Bevel effect.
Properties
- Contour

Flat
Creates a flat bevel.
Sinusoidal
Creates a sinusoidal bevel.
Circular
Creates a circular bevel.
- Width
Specifies the width of the Bevel effect, measured in pixels. Higher values render a greater amount of bevel to the button. - Depth
Specifies the depth of the Bevel effect in percentage. - Blur
Specifies the range of blurriness applied to the object, measured in pixels. Higher the number specified in Blur, the blurrier the Bevel effect becomes. - Highlight
Specifies the highlight on the object. A higher value renders a stronger highlight.
Light Source
- Angle
Specifies the angle of the light source. - Elevation
Specifies the elevation of the light source. - Color
Specifies the color of the Bevel effect.
Preview
You can preview the result the in the Preview box.
- Zoom in
Increases the magnification of the object preview. Click repeatedly to magnify the preview. If the image reaches its maximum size, this button will be deactivated, and display changes stop. - Zoom out
Decreases the magnification of the object preview. Click repeatedly to reduce the image by degrees. If the image reaches its minimum size, this button will be deactivated, and display changes stop.
