Applying the Gaussian Blur effect
You can apply the Gaussian Blur effect to an object.
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Select an object to which you want apply the Gaussain Blur effect.
- Choose one of the following methods.

- Select the [Effect > Gaussian Blur...] menu command.
- Click Add Effect
on the Effect tab of the Properties window.
- In the Gaussian Blur dialog box, specify properties, such as Radius X, Radius Y, and Sync X-Y.
