Applying the Drop Shadow effect
You can apply the Drop Shadow effect to an object.
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Select an object to which you want apply the Drop Shadow effect.
- Choose one of the following methods.

- Select the [Effect > Drop Shadow...] menu command.
- Click Add Effect
on the Effect tab of the Properties window.
- In the Drop Shadow dialog box, specify properties, such as Type, Offset, Color, Blur, and Opacity.
