Aligning multiple objects
You can align multiple objects at once. The last selected object serves as the reference point for alignment.
- Select the Selection Tool
on the Tool Palette.
- Select two or more objects on the Canvas or from the layers list while holding down the <Shift> key. The last selected object serves as the reference point for alignment.
- Select the [Modify > Align] menu command or specify how you will align the objects in the Object Toolbar.

- To align the objects to the left of the last selected object, Click Left
on the Object Toolbar. You can also select the [Modify > Align > Left] menu command.
- To align the objects to the horizontal center of the last selected object, click Center
on the Object Toolbar. You can also select the [Modify > Align > Center] menu command.
- To align the objects to the right of the last selected object, click Right
on the Object Toolbar. You can also select the [Modify > Align > Right] menu command.
- To align the objects to the top of the last selected object, click Top
on the Object Toolbar. You can also select the [Modify > Align > Top] menu command.
- To align the objects to the vertical middle of the last selected object, click Middle
on the Object Toolbar. You can also select the [Modify > Align > Middle] menu command.
- To align the objects to the bottom of the last selected object, click Bottom
on the Object Toolbar. You can also select the [Modify > Align > Bottom] menu command.
- To align the objects to the left of the last selected object, Click Left
When you select multiple objects by dragging the mouse on the Canvas, the object located at the very bottom of the layers list serves as the reference point for alignment.
